Alice

We found Alice at Horley about two years ago. She’s a Build-a-Bear, and by 2024 she was already over ten years old.

Her fur is a mix of brown, golden, and cream, soft and fluffy with button eyes and an embroidered nose. She’d clearly been cuddled plenty before she reached us.

One of the nice things about Alice is that she’s an asthma-friendly bear. That matters to families who can’t always bring a fluffy bear home, and we keep an eye out for bears like her.

We picked out a pink top, a pink jacket with a fur-trim hood, and little pink shoes to match. She looked the part straight away.

Alice went home with someone at the Surbiton Festival about a year ago. A good ending for a bear who’d waited a while.
