Angel

We spotted Angel about seven years at a stall in Hammersmith. She’s a Cuddles Collection bear, golden and curly all over, with a little embroidered pink nose and soft paw pads that had seen a lot of hugs.

She was properly well-loved when we found her. That’s usually a good sign. It means a bear has been part of someone’s life.

We gave her a brush and a freshen-up. Then we picked out a black dress for her, with floral embroidery across the front and a white petticoat peeking out underneath. Angel suited it straight away.

We took her to the Berkshire Christmas Fair about seven years, and she went home with a family from Reading that same afternoon. Quick as that.
