Barbara

We found Barbara at a car boot sale in Canterbury a few months. A Build-A-Bear rabbit with golden fur, long ears, and little pink paw pads. Button eyes, embroidered nose, soft all the way through.

She needed an outfit. We picked out a black Batman dress with a yellow belt, because a rabbit in a superhero costume makes us smile every time we look at her.

She came along to the Surbiton Festival in September, sat on the stall all afternoon, and that’s where Heather spotted her. Barbara went home with her a few months, straight into the care of Scarlott bear who already lives there.

Two bears, one owner, plenty of room on the shelf.
